A beautiful pair of antique Georgian drop earrings from the early 19^th century adorned with two large amethysts weighing approx. 6ct each with a white paste bezel set above which has been foil backed to increase its sparkle.

Both settings are closed backed in 18ct gold and look to have been converted, possibly from an older Georgian necklace. They are in excellent condition and boast a wonderful combination of stones.
